The latest public version of Situation Outbreak is v1.61.

This game requires that you own a Source engine game such as Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2, or Day of Defeat: Source. Click here for a full list of games that meet this requirement. Please note that Portal: First Slice and the bundled Half-Life 2: Deathmatch do not fulfill this requirement.

If you have already successfully installed v1.61 on your computer and are experiencing any of the following issues:

  • Chat messages not displaying properly in the chat area.
  • Missing names of weapons in the buymenu and selecting a weapon.
  • Seemingly random client-side crashes.

...please download the v1.61 client fix from any of the following mirrors as soon as possible to resolve these issues:
