Well, since for some reason a person spammed the site for fun, he/she’s now banned.

That reminded me to get anti-spam measures for the site. It’s one of the strongest automatic anti-spam plugins, and no CAPTCHAs required!

Since the old one didn’t work correctly, I decided to use this new one:

HOW TO: Register On the Site

Registering will enable certain features of the site to be usable, such as the shoutbox.

First, you must find the “meta” category on the bottom of the left sidebar.

Next, you click “register” and fill out the simple form, etc.

After that, check your e-mail for your password.

Finally, log-in and change your current password to your desired password. (optionally)

After following those instructions, you now have an account on the website!

New Website!

After a 2 week test run with Simple Machines Forum, I have decided that I didn’t like SMF. I found an alternative: Wordpress.

Wordpress offers a long history of development and is mainly used as a publishing platform. Over hundreds of thousands of websites use Wordpress.

Wordpress seems an suitable choice for the Headcrab Hunter Official Website. It offers easy news publishing and many plugins to suit my needs. Granted the plugins, Wordpress was my final choice.

Hopefully development will pick up speed sooner!
